Highlights

This Old Town sporting parlor boasts 23 plasma flat screen TV’s that are concealed in hidden compartments within the dark woodwork during the dinner hour, and strategically revealed during game time. Acclaimed Chef Jared Van Camp’s fanatical attention to detail and passionate support of local farmers first helped establish “bar food” as a serious culinary trend nationwide. Simply prepared, offerings include staple sports bar favorites such as a BLT, wings and the hot dog.  With décor featuring hand-blown glass light fixtures, ebonized marble bar tops, a dedicated charcuterie bar, turn of the century sourced Toledo bar stools, and a vintage shoe shine stand, this venue is a Chicago favorite, but far from pretentious.

Bar Overview

Our idea is so modest…it’s almost radical: A bar. With food. Old Town Social offers a juxtaposition of equal parts casual and sophisticated—no guest list, no cover, no dress code. The 10,000 square-foot sporting parlour carefully pays tribute to the most treasured elements of the iconic neighborhood bar, with a handcrafted return to the basics. But make no mistake—as low-key as the attitude may be, Old Town Social is deliberate in crafting a nostalgic experience for a more mature and sophisticated clientele.
